Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall set to headline Oct. 31 card

Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall are expected to meet in a UFC Fight Night main event on Oct. 31.

UFC president Dana White informed ESPN of the middleweight matchup.

The 45-year-old former champion has two fights remaining on his contract, however this bout with Hall could potentially be his last.

Silva has only earned one victory since losing the 185-pound title to Chris Weidman in 2013. Silva is coming off a TKO loss to Jared Cannonier at UFC 237 last May.

Hall, 36, has had two fights fall apart so far in 2020. He was scheduled to face Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza at UFC 249 but Souza tested positive for COVID-19 the day before the event. Hall was also slated to fight Yoel Romero on Aug. 22 but the former title challenger withdrew from the bout with an undisclosed injury.

Hall has won three of his past four fights with his one loss coming to top contender Paulo Costa.
