TORONTO — Alberta heavyweight Tanner (The Bulldozer) Boser says he has no problems with the judges’ decision in his weekend loss to former UFC champion Andrei (The Pit Bull) Arlovski.

But the 29-year-old from Bonnyville, who now calls Edmonton home, say he was not happy with his performance in the co-main event of the Fight Night card in Las Vegas.

All three judges scored it 29-28 for the 41-year-old Arlovski.

“Was the fight really close? Yes,” Boser said in a social media post Monday. “Did I lose? Yes.

“I’m not happy with myself and I have to get better. I

PHOENIX — Kevin Sutherland and Paul Broadhurst traded missed birdie putts as the sun raced toward the horizon, each time agreeing to keep playing despite the decreasing visibility.

After six playoff holes, it was just too dark to see the ball anymore.

Now the PGA Tour Champions season will last at least another day.

The final round of the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship will be played on Monday after Sutherland and Broadhurst kept making pars as darkness fell.

“As quick as I’ve ever played six holes,” Broadhurst said. “I didn’t dream we’d get six holes in. I thought a

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Vancouver Whitecaps finished their season on a positive note Sunday, beating the L.A. Galaxy 3-0.

Lucas Cavallini opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and Fredy Montero added a brace with goals in the 48th minute and injury time.

The Galaxy went down a man before the half after L.A.’s Julian Araujo was sent off for a serious foul when his studs met the knee of Vancouver’s Cristian Gutierrez.

Evan Bush had six saves for the Whitecaps (9-14-0) and collected his first clean sheet for Vancouver. Galaxy (6-12-4) ‘keeper David Bingham stopped three of the six

Jimmie Johnson strode into the final news conference of his NASCAR career wearing a black hat with “One Final Shot” on the front. Told he was the first driver in the room after Sunday’s race at Phoenix Raceway, the seven-time Cup champion had a quick response.

“I won something this year,” he said.

Johnson closed out one of the greatest careers in NASCAR history by finishing fifth at Phoenix — first among the drivers not in the Cup playoffs.

The 45-year-old spent some of the final moments in his No. 48 car pumping his fist and shouting from the window

AVONDALE, Ariz. — The new face of NASCAR circled Phoenix Raceway for a celebratory lap of his finest achievement. Chase Elliott, NASCAR’s most popular driver, was now a Cup champion, too.

He came upon teammate Jimmie Johnson, who banged doors with Elliott. Then the seven-time champion, in his final race, gave Elliott a fist bump.

The torch has officially been passed.

This is NASCAR’s Camelot.

Elliott did what Dale Earnhardt Jr. could not and parlayed the popularity gleamed off his Hall of Fame father into a NASCAR championship. The son of “Awesome Bill from Dawsonville” Georgia solidified himself as the
