LONDON — Four-time Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel will drive for Racing Point starting next season.

The team, which will be renamed Aston Martin, announced the move Thursday, a day after driver Sergio Perez said he was on his way out. The team said Vettel has signed for the 2021 season “and beyond” but did not reveal the length of the contract.

“The signing of Sebastian is a clear statement of the team’s ambition to establish itself as one of the most competitive names in the sport,” the team said in a statement. “As a four-time world champion, Sebastian brings

TORONTO – Norman Powell got the ball just at the tip of the NBA sign and stared down his Boston defender Kemba Walker.

There’s five seconds to play in overtime of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinal between the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics with the game tied at 106-106.

Powell juked to his right then came back to his left before stepping back and letting fly a rainbow triple over Walker’s outstretched hand, ensuring that, at the very least, the Celtics wouldn’t get an opportunity to score again in the period.

“I just wanted to get the last

MONTREAL — Greg Vanney wanted Toronto FC to play Wednesday night’s game as if it were a cup final, and that’s exactly the performance he got from Jozy Altidore.

The powerful striker scored in the 89th minute on his seventh shot on target, helping Toronto FC snap a two-game losing skid with an important 2-1 victory over the Montreal Impact.

Although 2019-20 was a strange, start-and-stop season on the PGA Tour, it was also arguably the best-ever campaign for Canadian golfers.

Mackenzie Hughes, Adam Hadwin, Corey Conners and Nick Taylor have at various points this season all been in the top 100 of the men’s world golf rankings — a new high for Canadian players — and Taylor Pendrith tore it up on the second-tier Korn Ferry Tour.

Derek Ingram, the men’s head coach for Golf Canada, has worked with all five players and said he believes that their success this past season — after the PGA resumed following a
